OPENING HOURS AND AVAILABILITY
What are the Royal Alcázar's opening hours?
From 9:30 am to 5:00 pm from October 1 to March 31, and from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm from April 1 to September 30. Clearing of the grounds begins 45 minutes before closing.
Which days is the monument closed?
January 1 and 6, Good Friday and December 25.
How far in advance should I book?
It's best to book as soon as availability opens up, especially during high season.
Do the guided tour times match the monument's opening hours?
No, the guided tour has its own schedule: 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.

What is the meeting point?
The Official Tourist Office at Plaza del Triunfo, next to the Alcázar walls. Arrive 10 minutes early.
What documentation do I need?
An ID card or passport is required. If you qualify for a reduced rate, you must also bring the supporting documentation.
Can I explore the monument freely after the guided tour?
No, groups enter and leave the site together with the guide.
Is there any check for the ticket without a guide?
Yes, it's checked at the Patio de Banderas, and from there you explore the monument at your own pace.
TICKET TYPES AND GUIDED TOUR
What's the difference between general admission and the guided tour?
General admission is self-guided access, at your own pace. The guided tour includes an official guide with explanations plus admission to the monument.
What does the guided tour include?
The ticket, the official guide, the tour, priority access and the audio guide system. It lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Who qualifies for a reduced rate?
Reduced rate: over-65s, students aged 14 to 30 and holders of the European Youth Card. Free admission: people born or resident in Seville, children under 13 accompanied by an adult, people with a disability of 33% or more together with their companion, and unemployed residents of the province with proper accreditation.
Is there a combined option with the Cathedral?
Yes, the complete tour lasts 3 hours and 30 minutes and costs from €59.
CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Can I cancel the guided tour and get a refund?
More than 48 hours in advance, 100% refund. Between 48 and 24 hours, 50%. Less than 24 hours, no refund.
Are monument tickets refundable?
No, except for an official closure of the monument, an amount charged higher than due, or a legal restriction preventing travel. The management fee is non-refundable.
Can I change the date or time of my booking?

Is it wheelchair accessible?
The route is adapted, with limitations in some areas.
Are baby strollers allowed?
Not inside the palaces or the main gardens; allowed on the connecting paths.
Do children need a ticket?
Children under 10 go free, but must be included in the booking. Children under 13 accompanied by an adult also don't pay for general admission.
Are pets allowed?
No, except accredited guide dogs.
